First ever FEAST! Local Food event in Rochester

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of participating in the first ever FEAST! Festival and Tradeshow at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota. The event was put on through support of Renewing the Countryside and the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation. Being that I'm a native of southern MN and where I still do my production, it made it even more special. This event blew my mind! Even with just being the first year, there was a great crowd on both days. I find that it's always great when food producers and food processors can get together at events like these. Through the event, I've already made some connections for my fruit sources, as well as connections with other foodcrafters to complement each other's products.
